I hope you are all helping out at home and getting some exercise in each day. Well done everyone on the “Country” &“Industrial Revolution” projects, they were very professional and I can see that you put a lot of work into them.

I also hope you have completed/attempted the work that I set for the past two weeks. Take care, M. Murphy ([email protected]) Girls, please remember the importance of exercising each day even if it's in your house. There are loads of videos on YouTube that are suitable for you. Just type in "exercises for kids" and take you pick. Don't push yourself too much at the start until you get used to it. Try it out and stay away from unhealthy food :(
Take care, M. Murphy Hi girls, I hope everyone is doing well.
I will keep in touch with you on this blog so remember to check in. I hope you are getting through the work that I gave without too much difficulty. If you have any questions you can email my school address: [email protected] I hope you are remembering to read your novel "Charlotte's Web" each day and don't forget to write about your favourite character. Reading is very important so take this time to read as much as you can. If you are already finished the novel it would be a good idea to write reviews on movies you have watched on Netflix or games you have played online. I also hope your project on the Industrial Revolution is going well. It was a very important time in human history and modern day technology would not be the same without it. I would also like to suggest that you keep a diary during this strange time. It will be very interesting for you to look back on it in years to come as it will be a part of our history. A few lines each day will be enough. Make sure that you are helping your parents around the house and making their lives a bit easier. You could try to learn how to bake/cook something new. You could write shopping lists. You could learn how to use the washing machine if you don't already know. Try to learn something new each day and remember to set yourself goals Before Easter, Orla showed us how to make homemade brown bread. We worked together in small groups and made 6 loaves of bread. We are very proud of ourselves and a big thank you to Orla for showing us how to make the bread. There will be no stopping us now!!
While we were waiting for the bread to cook in the oven, we went back to our classroom and made our very own butter to eat with our bread. We used cream and small jars to make our homemade butter. We each took a turn shaking the jar and it tasted very good too. If you want to try out the brown bread recipe, you will find it in the pictures below. We created Funky Easter Bunnies using water colour paint for the background and black markers to create different lines and patterns for our bunny. For the past number of weeks, we have been working together in small groups with the Izak 9 cubes. We have been practicing our problem solving and team work skills. Take a look at us in action
