Girls attending Ms. O Meara's class are asked to also keep an eye on her blog as she will also be updating it regularly
Take care, M. Murphy Hi Girls, I hope all is well.
I also hope you have completed/attempted the work that I set for the past two weeks. If you would like to email me or take photos of your projects on the Industrial Revolution, I would like to see them. ([email protected]) The following work is what we would be doing if we were at school English 1) Spellbound - Week 29 Spellings+ all exercises Report Writing - Generally a report is written to provide facts about a living or non-living object. It provides readers with information on a topic by providing facts. 2) Write one report each day on a topic of your choice e.g. The Titanic, pollution, turtles etc. 3) Continue with your diary each day (what do you do each day, how do you feel about it etc.) 4) Make sure that you are reading each day (Google PDST.ie) Maths Maths Challenge- Test 51,52,53,54 Planet Maths - Weight Pg 152-156 Try to weigh items in your own house using scales (eg when you are baking?) Take care, M. Murphy ([email protected]) Girls, please remember the importance of exercising each day even if it's in your house. There are loads of videos on YouTube that are suitable for you. Just type in "exercises for kids" and take you pick. Don't push yourself too much at the start until you get used to it. Try it out and stay away from unhealthy food :(
Take care, M. Murphy Hi girls, I hope everyone is doing well.
I will keep in touch with you on this blog so remember to check in. I hope you are getting through the work that I gave without too much difficulty. If you have any questions you can email my school address: [email protected] I hope you are remembering to read your novel "Charlotte's Web" each day and don't forget to write about your favourite character. Reading is very important so take this time to read as much as you can. If you are already finished the novel it would be a good idea to write reviews on movies you have watched on Netflix or games you have played online. I also hope your project on the Industrial Revolution is going well. It was a very important time in human history and modern day technology would not be the same without it. I would also like to suggest that you keep a diary during this strange time. It will be very interesting for you to look back on it in years to come as it will be a part of our history. A few lines each day will be enough. Make sure that you are helping your parents around the house and making their lives a bit easier. You could try to learn how to bake/cook something new. You could write shopping lists. You could learn how to use the washing machine if you don't already know. Try to learn something new each day and remember to set yourself goals |
