SCIENCE WEEK NEWS
The Methods of Science Rap
We are learning a new poem in English. It is a Science poem because it is Science week.
Each pod had two lines to say or rap.
At the end we made made up actions.
Then Ms. Marron filmed us.
The poem is called 'The Method's of Science'.
Take a listen.
Happy Science Week.

We have all now settled back to school and have had a very busy few months.
During September and October, we have enjoyed walks on the canal each Tuesday, Maths Trails, mindfulness, story writing, PE in the yard, Kindness Week, art and much more.
Our third class girls also received their First Confession and First Holy Communion. Congratulations to all the girls.
A big well done also to Rachel, Madison and Sophia who received attendance awards from Ms. Clear for their excellent attendance last year.
We are all really excited for Hallowe'en! This week we read the story ‘Faoi Sholas na Gealaí’. We recreated our own version of the story. Make sure and look at our video below.
Have a lovely Hallowe'en break everyone :)
A big welcome to our 3rd and 4th class girls to Room 5.
We especially welcome our 3rd class girls who have joined us in St. Philomena's N.S. this year.
We are really looking forward to our year ahead together.
Woohoo!!! We are officially on our Summer Holidays!!
We have made it to the end of the year - a little different to what we thought - but we all did it!
It's time now to relax, have fun and eat lots of ice-cream.
Thank you so much to you all for your support over the past few months. We will always remember our time together this year.
For today, sit back and enjoy a snapshot of our 'different but great'year in 3rd and 4th class in the video below. I hope you like it :)
Our last Star Friday Padlet is up too!
Bye for now and see you after the summer holidays girls. I have left you a small video below too.
Ms. Marron and Mollie
What a beautiful morning and the sun is shining.
Have lots of fun today playing outside.
I have also put up two more 'How to' draw videos.

We are nearly on our summer holidays :)
Hope you are all well today.
Can you believe after today we only have 1 and a half days left in 3rd and 4th class?
Lets hope the sun comes back out for our holidays.
For today, there is a Padlet. I have also included a Summer Reading Bingo, a science experiment on 'How to make Ice-cream' and an Interview page for you. These are only if you would like to try something different on this rainy day.
Have a great day.
Happy Tuesday. I hope you are enjoying this weeks activities.
For today, there is a Padlet if you would like to say hello and talk about all things 'holidays'.
I cannot believe we have all made it to the last week of school together and we are nearly on our summer holidays. A little different than we had thought at the start of the year but we have made it!
This week is all about fun as we get ready for our summer holidays on Friday.
Below is the menu of activities for this week. Feel free to choose any of the activities you wish to try out. Your favourite 'How to draw' videos are back as I know some of you missed them last week.
Keep an eye on the class blog each day.
