On Wednesday 25th October, 3rd and 5th class went on a Maths Trail together. It was really fun. We went outside and we were looking for answers to lots of Maths questions. We were counting the window sides and the stairs and the ceiling tiles. We had to add and subtract and multiply and round off numbers. We had fun with our 5th class partners. You can see our photos below. This report was written by Angel and Morgan ( 3rd class). Thank you for reading our Blog. We hope you enjoyed it !
On Wednesday, we went for a very nice walk by the canal. We collected horse chestnuts and beech nuts. When we came back to school, we planted some of the nuts in pots of soil and compost. We hope that by next Spring we will be able to see some of them starting to grow. It would be great to be able to grow our own horse chestnut tree or beech tree ! Here are some photos from our walk by the canal. Thank you for reading our blog. We hope you enjoyed it !
We have been settling in to our new class and new school. We have been very busy since we started in September. Now that it is Autumn, the leaves are turning gold and brown. We looked at their beautiful shapes and shapes. We did some art work to enjoy the Autumn colours. Here are a few of them: the top ones are sycamore and the bottom ones are oak. We hope you like them !
