Orla is helping the girls with gardening club and adding a lovely splash of colour to St. Philomena's yard. The daffodils have started to bloom showing that spring has finally arrived!
On Tuesday 11th December, we had our annual christmas food fair. The girls made lots of delicious christmas goodies! The girls invited their families in to sample their christmas recipes. We all had a lovely afternoon and it certainly put everyone into the Christmas spirit!
We have been practicing our spellings in some creative ways such as using shaving foam, washing up liquid and flour. Take a look!
On Wednesday 10th October we made banana pops. We put banana and strawberries on a skewer. We dipped the fruit skewer into chocolate and then into breakfast cereals. They tasted delicious. We will definitely make them again!

Every Wednesday afternoon a group of girls from 5th and 6th class partake in the school’s cooking club. At the moment we are focusing on healthy breakfasts. We made banana pops and French toast. After the midterm we will be making some Christmas recipes. Take a look at our pictures so far!
