You can see our beautiful red bells and a Christmas tree on this slideshow. Great work girls ! You did a great job!
Here are our 4 group reports on Bizworld in our class: Group 1 = We did Bizworld for one and a half days. Nadia from the Bank of Ireland came to help us. Our company was called Sugar Gardens. Sarah was the Managing Director, Aisling was the Director of Finance, Abi was the Director of Marketing, Olivia was the Director of Production, Shauna was the Director of Design and Grace was the Director of Sales. On 5th December we presented our companies to 2 Dragons. We got 175 Bizbucks altogether but we gave a Dragon 15% of our company. We enjoyed Bizworld. We hope to do it again. ( Grace, Ali, Aisling, Sarah, Olivia and Shauna) Group 2 = Nadia came and told us about Bizworld and that we were going to start our own "companies". We were split into groups and our "companies" were trademarked. We got a loan from the bank and we drew flyers. We made an advertisement and we practised for the Dragons. After we talked to the Dragons we got 120 Bizbucks and a certificate. ( Jodie, Emilie, Lillian, Rachael and Eabha) Group 3 = Nadia came to our class on Monday. She told us how to start our own businesses. She put us into groups of 5 or 6. Thanks, Nadia, for helping us to make our own business. ( Ellen, Alexandria, Rihanna, Katie and Aoife) Group 4 = Nadia came to visit us for one and a half days. She told us how to run a business and helped us to make our own business..We made posters, flyers and business cards. We told the Dragons about our business. A Tangram is an ancient Japanese puzzle that uses 7 shapes to make designs. We enjoyed making our designs - but getting all the pieces to form a square is a big challenge ! Well done to the girls who managed to use all the pieces to make a square !
Thanks for reading the 5th class Blog. Here are some pictures of us working on our Advent calendars and of our finished calendars. It was a tricky job getting all the images covered neatly with the "doors" but we like the finished products ! Hope you do too !
