We have been looking more closely at some of the bridges that we see every day outside our school. We did sketches of some of them and hope you like them ! This one is Bury Bridge and it crosses the entrance to the harbour. We noticed the towpath under it where the horses pulled the barges in the 1800s and early 1900s. When we looked closely we could see the rope marks still left at the edges of the bridge. We used charcoal to draw and shade our illustrations of the new footbridges from Convent Road to Convent View and we showed the Kilbeggan Road bridge too. Comments are closed.
