On November 14th Alex, Ashanti, Katie and Lillian paid a visit to Kilbeggan N.S. where Garda Commissioner Drew Harris was launching the Be Safe Be Seen Road Safety campaign. A helicopter landed in the carpark and the girls got to look inside. There was also a fire engine, garda car and ambulance to look into. Take a look at the photos below. During Science Week, we went to the library to a Junior Einstein show. We had great fun learning about slime and electricity. We even got to see a machine that can remove tumours. It was a very interesting visit. Well done to Angie Sewell from 4th Class who was selected to be part of the Science Apprentice Wonder Panel. Angie had to travel to UCD where she joined a group of curious and inventive children, who enjoy figuring things out. They helped to create a series of Science Apprentice books. Angie met scientists and helped them to make the best books possible. We were delighted to receive our first set of books today.
