Before the midterm break, pupils in our school entered an art competition ran by Offaly Council Council. Entrants had to design a poster promoting any Green Schools' themes. Four entrants from our school were chosen to go forward to the final stage of the competition, and be in with a chance of having their picture featured in the County Council's Environmental Awareness Calendar for 2020!
We had a tough job choosing winners from our school as all of the entries were amazing! Congratulations to Samantha from 3rd Class, Lucy from 4th Class, Anna from 5th Class and Alyssa from 6th Class who were chosen as our worthy winners! These posters were sent on to Offaly County Council as part of the final competition. We are delighted to say that Anna Maunsell's entry was chosen as one of the pictures for the Environmental Awareness Calendar 2020! Well done to Anna and all of our finalists. We are very proud! Our school has been invited to be part of the
